Alamo Heights / Lincoln Heights / Oak Park [78,209] Area is certainly the low crime and good education, but housing can be expensive. The people are in its friendly shops and restaurants nearby. Some key points of interest in the field would be: Quarry Market (Shopping Center), Central Market HEB (Grocery Store Luxury Nice) and elsewhere. I would consider this area, as well as areas around LP1604 including the area around the flag to the I-10 US281 in the vicinity. I'm not sure, Universal City (the area around 1604, I-35N), but I think Schertz, a city of about 20-30 km (15-25 minutes) from downtown, only the outside good, too. A tip: avoid trying to whip up in central-north, south, west, ad east side of town to watch the news on http://woai.com and understand why. Most of the crime almost everywhere, where there is low and a good education is not always the value of the property so that housing will be higher.
Bluffview area up to 281 ... excellent schools, low crime rate, but can not find affordable housing (unless you live in New York). If you need affordable housing, low crime must move in a northern suburb suburb.
Someone mentioned Boerne. This could be a bit far, but I want to live there (if I) get a job.
I Moved to Texas also. San Antonio is a great lot of jobs are available. For example, Dell, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Toyota and more than 165 factories of Toyota opening up around San Antonio. They estimate that about 280 plants are differnt than open.I Adkins Texas is like living in the countryside, stopping smoking and a hill. But about 15 minutes away from the city center. The new school is open for all to hear me well, all kinds of infringements on the southeast side of San Antonio
